EcoCAR: The NeXt Challenge
Tools and Training Provided by The MathWorks
EcoCAR is a three-year collegiate advanced vehicle technology engineering competition established by the United States Department of Energy in partnership with General Motors and Argonne National Laboratory.
Over the course of the challenge, university engineering students will re-engineer a GM Saturn Vue to achieve improved fuel economy and reduced emissions, while retaining the vehicle's performance and consumer appeal.
As a major sponsor, The MathWorks provides products for Model-Based Design, including MATLAB and Simulink, as well as intensive training to students from colleges across North America.
