Pearson to Distribute MATLAB & Simulink Student Version to Bookstore Channels Throughout EMEA Regions
The MathWorks partners with Pearson Education on distribution of the MATLAB & Simulink Student Version to bookstore channels throughout EMEA regions.
NATICK, Mass. - (01 Aug 2006)
The MathWorks and Pearson Education Limited, the UK educational publishing businesses of Pearson PLC, today announced that Pearson will be the exclusive distributor of the MATLAB® & Simulink ® Student Version to university bookstore channels throughout the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) regions. With this partnership the MATLAB & Simulink Student Version software will be widely available in bookstores throughout EMEA, where students already purchase their course books, making it easier to incorporate into university curricula.

Beginning immediately, Pearson will distribute the MATLAB & Simulink Student Version to all EMEA university bookstores in their network in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Greenland, Iceland, Germany, Switzerland, Israel, Greece, and South Africa. The MATLAB & Simulink Student Version will also be featured in the Pearson Engineering, Science, and Math Program. The MathWorks distribution channels for MATLAB & Simulink Student Version in North America, Asia, and Australia remain unchanged.
