SimEvents is a process simulation software that helps understand resource requirements, timelines for complex large-scale missions, and the effects of arbitrary events on a mission plan.
You can easily customize components of your process simulation without low-level programming. You write a MATLAB function to represent a task-scheduling sequence, routing of parts, or production recipes in a process simulation model. Your model uses the result of this MATLAB function to dynamically change processing delays, priorities, and other key elements of the process.
With MathWorks products you avoid having to use different environments for simulation and data analysis. You can use the process simulation software - SimEvents to simulate the process flow and use built-in visualization capabilities to gain insight into resource requirements, bottlenecks, and latencies. You can also use MATLAB to customize analysis and visualization of that simulation data.
