Receive infrared signals from LEGO Power Functions IR Speed Remote Control.
The remote control has two channels:
The left dial and stop button are "red".
The right dial and stop button are "blue".
For each channel on the remote control:
Turning the transmitter on initializes the output value to 0.
Rotating the dial either way increases or decreases the output value to: [-100, -86, -72, -58, -44, -30, -16, 0, 16, 30, 44, 58, 72, 86, 100]
Changing the position of the black switch inverts polarity of the dial.
Pressing the red "stop" button resets the output value to 0.
With the block switch in the down position, turning a dial clockwise outputs positive values.
To configure the block, select the NXT brick input port to which this sensor is connected. Select the Channel parameter to match the channel setting on the remote control.
If you run a simulation of a model that contains this block without the target hardware, this block outputs zeroes. See Block Produces Zeros or Does Nothing in Simulation.
Select the NXT sensor port to which the sensor is connected. Avoid assigning multiple devices to the same port. The options are 1, 2, 3, or 4.
Update this value to match the channel setting on the remote control.
Specify how often the block reads sensor values.
Smaller values require the processor to complete the same number of instructions in less time, which can cause task overruns.
