I tried many sparse solvers, and this one is perfect : easy to install & compile, easy to use, and the fastest I tried. Exemple : Fast Newton-Raphson algorithme (assuming Jacobien is fast) [si,sj,s,lmax,F_X] = myJacobian(X,...); J = cs_sparse(si,sj,s); deltaX = klu(J,'\',F_X,opts); X = X - deltaX; repeat until X converge

This author seems intent on cobbling together as many disjointed scientific buzzwords as he can in some kind of poorly defined algebraic formulation that makes a mockery of mathematics, philosphy, programming, and "physicity" (which is not a real word, I might add). I'm all for recycling, but when this author builds his newest poorly-reasoned arguments on top of all of his older poorly-reasoned arguments he only succeeds in creating something that is even more offensive to science and basic reasoning. Every one of these submissions represents a huge step backwards in the intellectual progress of the world. They serve no purpose other than to amuse the author via the frustration he wreaks upon us sound thinkers.

Dynamic Staticity? An oxymoron which is somehow an appropriate label in this context. I'm pretty certain this author is using the word "profundity" incorrectly as I detect no paradox in the functionality of this program. This fellow just likes certain words and damn the torpedoes he will apply them as he likes. In his discovery of basic image properties he is punishing all of us by posting a program representing the latest increment forward in his knowledge ad infinitum and attaching all kinds of nonsensical assertions about universe modeling etc to each trivial step forward. The author would be well advised to simply study a book on Matlab Image Processing and then wait until he has some meaningful problem solved before posting. Are we to be subject to new variants to each of these programs when the author "discovers" true-color?

I feel honored (but also somewhat annoyed, if that is the right word for it) that you simply copied my whole RANDINTERVAL code into your submission, but you'd better stick to using x = ceil(66*rand); to select a random integer between 1 and 66 (inclusive)

E-mail:  hayworth.ms@pg.com Date:  Oct-20-2008 15:29:19
Note: If you call this from within your own function instead of the MATLAB command line, you will need to change the second line to Excel = evalin('caller', 'Excel'); (instead of Excel = evalin('base', 'Excel'); like he has it) Plus all the error messages arguments need to be changed to "MATLAB:xlswrite1" instead of "MATLAB:xlswrite" He also needs to add the description at the top of the m-file. As it is, there is no description in the file itself and one would have to return here to the file exchange to get it. It should be also in the first few lines of the m-file.

Joaquim, Thanks for the comments. This file assumes that the coordinates are relative to the pixel center. I had no idea that "xllcorner" actually referred to absolute corner of the grid. I will post a modified file in the next few days that will account for the different coordinate reference systems.

Hi there, First thanks for your convertor, I was looking for such a thing for a long time. But this doesn't work un unclosed objects. I read the comments inside m file, it seems that its not possible to do this, I just want to know is there any way to work on unclosed objects too?

No help. No explanation of what the variables mean at all. No H1 line. No explanation of what the function does. No error checking. This requires two functions square.m, and expandm.m to do trivial things. square.m comes from the signal processing toolbox, and is trivial to replace. expandm.m comes from where? A search of the website did not find it. Code that does not run and has absolutely no help at all, should probably get a poor rating. So I'm arguably being remarkably generous by saying this "needs improvement". Others might say this is worth a better rating. They would be very wrong here. At the very best, you can only argue that this is worth a 2 rating.

Neural system.... yes.... current with a double point, left and right, where right is a double function.... 2=0 is in letters Sun=Earth..... parameters..... you dont see parameters? Bah!!! Simulation is all in degrees-association, Sun and Moon are right point of current (right and left hemisphere) and are MO and RA variables.... PSX is reference of left point of current.... 2=0 formula is a null velocity, is in other words the gravity..... 2 is a velocity in the system because the system has a weight and it is a null velocity because system dont precipitate, stay up in equilibrium of the half..... to understand me you must to go inside software with you in reference, colors-image are parameters (random parameters of each execution) and are a different value of velocity..... a null velocity is a null color (360 of grey levels in the range 0-300). With a scheme: 2=0=3=3=1=4 Sun=Sun ? 2=4 Earth=Earth ? 0=1 Moon=Moon ? 3=3 Increasing number we go in direction of INF profundity and the number where we arrive is a velocity always bigger, is a white always more white because white is 300 but there isnt limit in the white-number.
