Generating Code Composer Studio™ Projects from Simulink® Models
With the project generator component in Embedded IDE Link CC, you can create complete Code Composer Studio projects from Simulink models using the application C code generated from Real-Time Workshop along with other files specific to Code Composer Studio, such as the linker command file. You can quickly create executable DSP implementation from your high-level Simulink system models for prototyping the systems on any supported TI DSP such as the C2000, C5000, and C6000 families.
The project generator component enables you to:
- Generate CCS projects that can be compiled and executed on supported TI processors
- Create custom memory maps for code generated from Simulink models
- Configure cache options from Simulink models and use the stack profiler to optimize stack usage
- Perform PIL simulations with code generated for the subsystem executing on the processor while the rest of the model runs in Simulink on the host PC
You can then implement your design as a stand-alone embedded system with the necessary device driver support for commonly used DSKs and EVMs by using Target Support Package™ TC2 and Target Support Package™ TC6 (each available separately) together with Embedded IDE Link CC.
