IEC Certification Kit 1.3

for IEC 61508 and ISO 26262

IEC Certification Kit provides documentation, certificates, and templates that help you use Real-Time Workshop Embedded Coder™ or PolySpace^® code verification products for projects based on the IEC 61508 and ISO 26262 standards. The kit includes certificates and reports from certification authority TÜV SÜD that are based on documented, application-specific verification workflows. With the kit, you can streamline certification of your embedded systems developed using Simulink^® or PolySpace products.

Specific versions of Real-Time Workshop Embedded Coder and PolySpace Verifier for C, which includes the MISRA-C:2004 code analyzer, have been certified by TÜV SÜD for use with the IEC 61508 standard. For each certified version of these products, the kit contains certificates, reports, and additional materials necessary to document compliance with the standard. You can modify these artifacts as needed for your project and submit them to your certification authority as evidence of product or application compliance with IEC 61508-3 and and ISO/DIS 26262-8.
