Real-Time Workshop 7.2

Generate C code from Simulink models and MATLAB code

Real-Time Workshop generates C code from Simulink models. Blocks from the Gauges Blockset (available separately) can be used to monitor the real-time code running on a target processor.

The Real-Time Workshop® product generates and executes stand-alone C code for developing and testing algorithms modeled in Simulink® and Embedded MATLAB™ code. The resulting code can be used for many real-time and non-real-time applications, including simulation acceleration, rapid prototyping, and hardware-in-the-loop testing. You can tune and monitor the generated code using Simulink blocks and built-in analysis capabilities, or run and interact with the code outside the MATLAB® and Simulink environment.

Modeling and Simulation of Video Processing Systems with MATLAB & Simulink (Academic focus) new

Penn State GATE Center

"With MathWorks™ tools, our students can do both modeling and analysis, and then develop an embedded controller without switching software platforms. That is invaluable."
- Dr. Joel Anstrom, Penn State University
