Working with Simulink Fixed Point

Using Simulink Fixed Point, you can automatically convert a floating-point design built in Simulink, Stateflow, and Signal Processing Blockset into an initial fixed-point design without changing any blocks in your model. You can then optimize the fixed-point design and benchmark the final fixed-point implementation against the original floating-point design. At any point in the development process, you can generate fixed-point C and HDL code for implementation on hardware for rapid prototyping or production.
