In this webinar, you will learn how to develop multi-domain system-level simulation models for off-highway machine design and development. Using a wheel loader example, MathWorks engineers will demonstrate methods for modeling physical systems, including mechanical, hydraulic, controls, and driveline. They will illustrate how to use such a model to analyze interaction between subsystems, trade-off design options, and size key components using simulation, before prototype machines are built.
About the Presenters:
Wit Nursilo is a senior application engineer based in the MathWorks Novi, Michigan, office. He supports physical modeling application for customers in the automotive and other industries. Including Delphi Corporation and MathWorks, Wit has over 10 years of industry experience in hydraulics/pneumatics component and system modeling. Wit has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from Tokai University, Japan, and received his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington in the area of hydraulics control system.
Vinay Gunasekaran is an Application Engineer at MathWorks and primarily works in the area of modeling multi-domain physical systems. He received his MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. Vinay comes from a Robotics background. Prior to joining MathWorks in 2010, some of the projects he worked on included modeling Butterfly Valves for chilled water systems used in Naval ships and developing Autonomous Kayaks.
